Tennis anyone??

so today jack and i are going to "attempt" driving down to st. Pete for Brendan's tennis match... this will be our first outing alone!! i am a little nervous... wish us luck!

Mommie's 76th Birthday

We all went out to Bascom's last night for Mommie's 76Th birthday dinner... the food was soooo great & we had such a great time together! Baby jack slept the WHOLE time... this was his 2nd restaurant experience and he clearly loved it!

Today was the first day since Jack has been born that i left the house BY MYSELF to go get a much needed pedicure!! OH it felt soooo good to get out and drive, even if it was only 4 miles away, while Jamey babysat our little prince. i was only gone for an hour and i came home rejuvenated! Maybe tomorrow Jack and i will go for a stroller ride all by ourselves without daddy!! ha ha

Project Runway

So everyone knows i am a HUGE TV junkie... well this show is my #1 favo!! If you haven't been a big reality TV fan, let this be your one eye opening experience and venture out into the world of high fashion. I just LOVE it!! The season finale airs next week...

Fashion Show

Today Jack had his ONE month check up with the pediatrician... and he is officially 9 lbs & 10 oz and 21 1/2 inches (he's in the 75th percentile)!! Talk about a turkey... he is growing like a weed:) He still has a little heart murmur so we will be getting an echo next week just to be on the safe side.

In an effort to keep this little man awake after his daytime feedings (so he will sleep longer at night) i have been putting on mini daily fashion shows to pass the time. And well... we all know that Jack has a plethora of clothes... so much so that he has a new outfit for everyday of his life until he is 6 months old!! Here are some pics of today's NEW polo outfit... isn't he the cutest man ever!!

Sorry Jack, your mom has to put that fashion design degree to use somehow!! ha ha

Amazing Grace...

I can't believe our little man is already 4 weeks old ( and 2 days)!! This is the most rewarding and hardest thing i have ever done... and yet i wouldn't trade it for anything!! It just amazes me how much love you can have for this little person who has only been in your life for FOUR weeks! Crazy! I love being a mother and i feel so blessed!

However, please wake me in 3 months when he is sleeping through the night and i am not a living zombie!! Hopefully, it's 3 months and not 12!! ha ha

It's simply AMAZING!

Jack's First Outing...

February 22, 2008

Today Jack had his first outing... we first traveled to see a lactation specialist so mommy could learn how to "properly" breastfeed after THREE full weeks, then we took him to his first restaurant (Stone Chase: they serve the BEST flat bread pizza) for lunch, then we took our first stroller ride around the neighborhood, and finally finished the evening off with his first visit to Target for a never ending supply of diapers! He did great, mostly sleeping through every adventure!! Unfortunately... this meant that he didn't sleep at ALL during the night and kept mommy & daddy up from 1 am till 11 am!!! Oh well... we are both so sleep deprived it doesn't really bother us. NOT... are you crazy...this no sleep thing is driving us CRAZY!!

Then Jack decided to pee all over mommy TWICE during the same diaper change... so we spent most of the wee early morning naked together because our favorite pj's were washing all night long!

All in all... it was a very eventful day together! We love our Jack Jack... and i love being a mommy!

Wii... fun with a 5 yr old

This is Baby Jack's cousin Julian... ruling the Wii bowling circuit! Jamey's family came over this weekend to visit and it turned into an ALL day Wii bowling tournament, with Julian beating everyone at every game with his 188 point win streak!! Seriously, this little 5 year old was soooooo good at this game... he put all of us to shame:)
