Meet Jack's BEST Friends! Jack and i named the dog (Francis) and the bird (Myrtle)... while daddy and Jack named the dragon (Mr. Green). It's so funny, as soon as you push their tummy they make noise and Jack starts giggling and smiling up a storm!!

So Brendan turned the BIG 14 on May 5th! We just can't believe how much he has grown in the past year... he is already taller than everyone in my family!!! So we took him out to dinner to his favorite restaraunt, The Wine Cellar, to celebrate the grand occasion! What a fun evening with the family:)

Big Boy Chair...

So one of our GREAT neighbors gave us this bébéPOD chair for Jack, and we thought we would try it out today just to see if he could sit in it on his own. Well... much to our surprise he DID! (Granted he was a little tipsy turvy, hugging the side a bit:) Our little boy is growing so fast, he is already 16 1/2 pounds already!!

So Bren came and spent the day with us today... we had so much fun playing our favorite dominoes game "Chicken Foot." Where, i might add, i won (7) rounds in a row! If anyone knows my family, you would know that we are HUGE dominoes fans (Thanks to the Switzer Girls) and i am quite competitive. Although i do have to admit that i don't cuss as much now that I'm not prego anymore! ha ha! There was a neighborhood garage sale this morning, so we even walked around the block a little. Later in the evening mom and dad came by for some "Jack Time" and we all took turns snuggling with the talking baby!! What a fun family day:)

Jack's First Party

So Jack and i took a little stroller ride today to his First Birthday Party! We had such a great time getting out of the house and seeing our friends!! He fell asleep an hour into the party, i guess i wore him out! look how cute he is all snuggled up in his stroller! i didn't dare move him to the crib when we got home, for fear of him waking! ha ha

So we just had this cute little LSU plaque made for Jack's room (thanks Patti... we LOVE it), and i just HAD to dress him up in his LSU gear for the picture!! funny thing is... i have been waiting to put him in this (9 month) onsie because i thought it would be too big!! well, i am glad he is barely fitting into it now at (3) months!! ha ha, what a rolly polly:)

Our ONE Year Anniversary

Wow, i can't believe that it has been ONE year since we got married! That was such a wonderful wedding weekend and i wish we could do it again, or at least have another huge party! This has been such a wonderful year filled with priceless memories and beautiful gifts! We were going to go stay at the Don Cesar for a night "alone"... but neither of us could bear to leave our little angel for more than four hours!! in fact, we spent the majority of our dinner talking about Jack as it was!! I feel so blessed to have such a sweet hubby and perfect little baby boy!!

I'm soooo sleepy, what a LONG day!

So we took Jim & Tricia to our favorite Japanese restaurant tonight with my family! It is about a block down the beach from the Don Cesar, and we decided to take a quick stroll in the sand before dinner to catch the sunset. We even ventured into a few tourist gift shops before meeting up with grandma honey and grand. What a fun day... we are all pooped!

It is just amazing that we were ALL here this time last year for our wedding... (all 300 of us.) WOW, those were some GREAT memories! And now look at our new addition, i can't imagine life with out him!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my life!!!
