Our Little Prince Has Arrived...

Yeah!! Baby Jack has arrived: JANUARY 28th, 2008!! he is healthy and happy... 7 llbs and 3 ozs and 21 inches long! we are home now and learning our new schedules together!! he's soooo adorable... i just want to kiss him and stare at him FOREVER!! we love him so much!!

Wall Art...

Ok, so this week i decided that Jack's walls were a little too empty! So, i had this "Wall Art" designed for his room and i just LOVE it! It is the same Pottery Barn: Animals on Parade print that matches his bedding. Do you like it, what do YOU think??

I know, clearly i have way too much time on my hands:) Hurry up baby Jack!!!

The Biggest Teddy Bear EVER...

Uncle "Rick" surprised us this week with tons of gifts for baby Jack! It was like a mini baby shower!! I had to take a picture with Brendan next to this gift so ya'll could see how HUGE it was! This is the biggest teddy bear i have EVER seen... and i just know Jack is going to love it!! Thanks Rick - we love you!!

Now all we need to do is give the bear a name... any suggestions??

Laundry, Laundry, Laundry...

OK... so i have been doing laundry for THREE straight days!!! Baby Jack has been given so many clothes (what a blessing) but it's taken all of my energy to organize his outfits & "clean" his room all week! Is this what being a new mom is like?? ha ha

Today, i went into Jamey's office for his business partner Charlie's birthday lunch and Rick decided to start an official poll as to when Jack is going to come... here are the results:

January 12th Baby Shower

The BEST weekend ever...

WOW... talk about the best weekend ever! Jamey gave me an early baby gift on Friday night by surprising me with Diana (from Germany) & Jessica (from Omaha) flown in just for the baby shower!! OMG, i was in tears at the airport picking them up!! I am just amazed that they flew all this way for just a short weekend! And then the night just got even better with the surprises as ALL of my mother's sisters flew in from ALL over the US!! I even got to see my uncle Keith, cousins Megan and Kristen, and honorary aunt Dana, Brandy and Baby Chase!!

Saturday's shower was awesome... way more than i could have ever expected! Thank you, THANK YOU to ALL of you who helped put it together! Even baby jack got excited... so much so that we made a trip to the hospital at 11pm that night because i was having strong contractions 2 minutes apart for over an hour!! The doc said i am not ready yet (CRAP) ... i am only 1 centimeter dilated and 50% effaced! So i guess Baby Jack isn't quite ready to MOVE OUT!!

I am SO excited...

So Baby Jack should be here any day now and i am soooooo excited to meet him!! As Saturday's big baby shower approaches i feel extremely anxious... i can't wait to see all of my friends and family that i haven't seen since our wedding!

This is it, the moment that i have been waiting for my whole life... i am really going to become a mom!!
