Today we went to Miss Ansley's birthday party, where we had a mini music class. Jack got to sing his favorite Mr. Froggy song, see his girlfriend, and play with all of the neighborhood kiddies. It was so much fun watching him bounce and sing along... he just loves music. Yesterday we went on jack's FIRST play date with his girlfriend... Miss Sarah. She is just 4 weeks older than jack, and just the cutest little girl ever!

So Jack LOVES to brush his teeth. It is now our morning and nightly routine to do exactly what "mommy and daddy" do... and he looks so grown up holding the tooth brush just like us! I just love every moment with him!

Update...

FYI: it was my grandmother "mommie" who was in the hospital and who had a pacemaker put in. She is doing much better, thank you ALL for your prayers and concern. She is going in next week to have the tumor checked out in more depth, keep your fingers crossed:) love you ALL!

today we had miss Darian come visit... she was a great lil helper! then jack's aunt Rachel is flying in from Colorado late tonight... we cant wait to see her!! it was a busy day running errands in preparation for this weekends big event!!

A Sick Week...

Last week was CRAZY! Mommie was admitted to the hospital for "chest pains" and was released 10 days later with a pacemaker. The doctors also found a tumor on her kidney, but have yet to address it until they get her heart "fixed." Then baby jack got sick with a little virus and vomited everywhere, even through his nose... poor thing! Later in the week my Uncle David, Cheryl, jaci, Danny, Ashley, & Blaire came in town to check up on mommie... along with the rest of dad's family: aunt sue & uncle Blaine. It was great seeing everyone, just wished it was under better circumstances. Luckily, both jack and mommie are feeling better now:) We even tried more solid foods: peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, & pears.

Giant Turttle Attacks Our Backyard

We are in the process of screening in our back patio because baby Jack just loves it outside... but we do not love the Florida bugs. So the construction crew came out this week to get started on the project, and in the midst of it we found this GIANT turtle lurking around in a rain puddle. He is so huge that we decided to show you his size to scale with this domino. Isn't he the cutest little thing you have ever seen! Jack was in complete amazement!!

So Wednesday night was mom's birthday... and Brendan, Jonathan, and i all rallied together to make Mommie B's homemade meatball recipe for mom's big birthday gift! And we had soooo much fun cooking all afternoon together! Unfortunately, Jack & i got sick (for the first time since he's been born) so we were under the weather the rest of the week while the Switzer family was in town. But we loved seeing everyone and eating the yummy homemade meatballs & sauce!! Fun times!Oh, and we even got to see the bride & groom to-be (kristie & jimmy) on friday night... and we just LOVE them to pieces!
