Our ONE Year Anniversary

Wow, i can't believe that it has been ONE year since we got married! That was such a wonderful wedding weekend and i wish we could do it again, or at least have another huge party! This has been such a wonderful year filled with priceless memories and beautiful gifts! We were going to go stay at the Don Cesar for a night "alone"... but neither of us could bear to leave our little angel for more than four hours!! in fact, we spent the majority of our dinner talking about Jack as it was!! I feel so blessed to have such a sweet hubby and perfect little baby boy!!

I'm soooo sleepy, what a LONG day!

So we took Jim & Tricia to our favorite Japanese restaurant tonight with my family! It is about a block down the beach from the Don Cesar, and we decided to take a quick stroll in the sand before dinner to catch the sunset. We even ventured into a few tourist gift shops before meeting up with grandma honey and grand. What a fun day... we are all pooped!

It is just amazing that we were ALL here this time last year for our wedding... (all 300 of us.) WOW, those were some GREAT memories! And now look at our new addition, i can't imagine life with out him!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my life!!!

So the WCF Golf Tournament & Family Fest went great! i was busy running around, and these are the only pics jamey boy took. Dad & Bren had a blast playing golf, and even bought an LSU football signed by Glen Dorsey at the Live Auction! The event was a huge success!

Jamey's dad & fiance, Tricia, came in town this weekend from Colorado for a "Jack" visit. We picked them up from the airport at 11pm, it was Jack's FIRST airport experience and we were ALL so excited to see them!! Today we all went to Honeymoon Island for Jack's FIRST beach experience! it was so cute... he didn't know what to think of the sand, and the water, and the bright sun, and the ocean smell. We had a blast!

So our German friend, Miss Diana, sent this cute outfit to baby jack when he was born! don't you just love the skull and bones!! She even made this AWESOME wedding book for our one year anniversary!!Thanks, Diana... we love you and miss you!!!

Daddy Play Time

Jack just loves play time with Daddy... we like to get all dressed up in new outfits when daddy comes home from work! Aren't these rain boots sooooo adorable!! Too bad he's too young to go splashing through puddles!!

So we had a lazy day today, just relaxing from a busy couple of days. The Westchase Community Foundation's big Golf Tournament & Family Fest yesterday went GREAT, we had over 200 people show up for live music, games, and tons of prizes. The big hit of the night was a signed photo of Hannah Montana that went for $1100 in our live auction. The event was a huge it and we raised a ton of money!!

Baby Geek...

Jack and daddy were playing on the computer this morning and i just had to capture the moment!! Can you tell we have a future computer geek in the family?? ha ha

Swimming like a fish...

So Jack & i went swimming for the FIRST time today at our neighbor Laurie's house... and oh the cool water felt sooooo good! Jack loved the water and kicked his cute lil' legs the whole time. we lasted about 20 minutes and then as soon as i got him all dried off he so peacefully fell asleep in my arms! This pool float i bought was so handy, it gave us both some shade in the hot florida sun. i can't wait to try it again soon! FYI... did any of ya'll do baby swiming lessons??

I'm a Big Boy Now...

Today we practiced sitting up and tried on this cute outfit from Uncle Allen... aren't these crocodiles adorable (they even match his bedding:)!! Jack is getting SO big, he is already 14 pounds and 23.5 inches! What a big boy!!! And i don't know if you can tell in this picture...

but his hair is turning RED!
